CARNE ASADA
WHO, NOW?
Rich Wilkes is an American screenwriter. Since 1993 he's written movies, including AIRHEADS, the xXx franchise, THE DIRT and many more. He's the singer of Carne Asada, a punk rock mariachi band and veteran of the Warped Tour. In 2026 he undertook a humanitarian mission to deliver a vehicle and body armor to soldiers in Ukraine.
He began writing for 'zines and newspapers in the 1980s. In the course of his career, he's interviewed the likes of Jello Biafra, Keith Morris, Bad Religion, NOFX, The Vandals, Avenged Sevenfold, Sum-41, Buckcherry and many more.
